The effect of circuit training on cardiorespiratory function in middle-aged woman

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the effect on cardiorespiratory function through circuit training based on middle-aged women. Circuit training(9 itemas) are practiced for 12 weeks(4times a week) based on exercise group : 7 and control group : 7, with 3set exercised during 50 minutges as 1/2 of the maximum repetitions of 1 minute for each item in 9 items. And then, the results of this study are as follows : V_(Emax)(p<.05), VO_(2max)(p<.01), VO_(2max) per weight(p<.05), and HR_(max)(p<.05) are found to have a significant increase respectively after 12 weeks circuit training in exercise group, but the above 4 items are found to have a decrease after 12 weeks in control group without exercise(p<.05). Through this study, the groups participated in circuit training are found to have a great effectiveness on the improvement of cardiorespiratory function.
